Getting Organized was created by Staffan Müller-Wille
The summer school is fast approaching and it may be a good idea to get organized for it, apart from reading all the fascinating material that is now online. In previous years, we got organized on the spot, but we have the on-line discussion forum now. I will place this e-mail there as well, so if you are using the forum already, you can safely ignore this e-mail.

You will have noticed that there are two types of sessions in the programme. Lectures, which will give room for a proper presentation to faculty, and seminars, interventions, and open discussions, which are supposed to provide space for more interaction among the summer schoool participants.

The lectures should be 30 mins at maximum to leave some time for immediate questions and answers.

For the seminars and interventions we have assigned small groups of participants -- one faculty, who will lead the discussion, and two to three students -- to kick of discussion with very short, informal presentations or come up with some tasks for the rest of participants to be discussed in smaller groups, or anything else you want to come up with. We would like to avoid formal presentations in these sessions by all means; the point is to interact and discuss.

Under the topic "Student Presentations" you will find a list of the groups that have been assigned to the seminar and intervention sessions.
