Hi All!
I am Pierre-Olivier, currently a postdoc at the Institute for the History of Medicine and Health in Geneva. I am broadly interested in the changing relations between evolutionary biology and medicine, the history of bacteriology and immunology as well as in current modelling practices of host-parasite interactions. I have also been working quite a bit on Georges Canguilhem’s historical epistemology and more recently on Mirko Grmek’s contributions to medical history and the history of science. Other research interests include the ethics and epistemology of dual-use technologies in the life sciences.
