First I didn't understand why. Then I realised that the 10.45 train is not for Termini but for Roma Tiburtina, which is also in the city, but less central.

We could also get up early and travel with Italo Treno (private train company) at 9.20–10.30 for 20 euros?

Or go with Tren Italia (public train company) at 10.35–11.47 for 29 euros?

I would prefer termini because I am traveling with a backpack; not sure about the train to Rome, my first impulse is 9:20am but thinking on the journey Ischia-Naples-train station, I see the advantage of going for 10:35. Since I prefer termini I believe you should decide the hour.

Here is my suggestion:

Hydrofoil (Alilauro) leaving Ischia at 8.00, arriving to Napoli Mergellina (not Beverello) at approximately 8.40. 19 euros.

Walk to Mergellina metro station (500 m). Metro Linea 2 leaves every ten minutes and takes 15 mins to Garibaldi/Napoli Centrale. 1 euro.

Frecce public train (Trenitalia) leaving Napoli Centrale at 9.40, arriving Roma Termini at 10.50. 39 euros.

That should work... and then we'll be in Rome at a good time. I must concede I prefer having better marginals, but that would either mean leaving Ischia at 7, or arriving Rome at 12. What do you think?

First I didn't understand why you wanted business class. Why waste so much money on exclusive traveling? But then I realised business class is the cheapest option. So yes, Super Economy Business (not silent area). I am buying my ticket now.
